Golden Hill News and Updates

It has been a great first day for our kindergarten students!  The students were thoughtful and kind to each other and did very well getting into the routines of "doing school".  We are so happy to have them with us at Golden Hill.

Today, we also had a fire drill.  The students did an amazing job, especially given that it was the first day of kindergarten.  We were able to have a conversation with the students about the drill, letting them know that it was JUST PRACTICE!

Lastly, please think about supporting our Playground Build from October 20th to October 25th!  I have included the link to volunteer to help on any of those days that week.  No matter your skill level, the playground committee will have something for you to do!!  The students were such an integral part of the playground process, from picking some of the playground equipment to the playground reveal day and the many fundraisers hosted by the playground committee, so having you there would just bring the dream full circle for all of us.  Thank you for all you have done so far to support this endeavor!
