Happy Friday!  Here are the updates for the upcoming week!

Raking in our Efforts 

The grade-level winners this past week…KINDERGARTEN! We love all the effort the students are showing in their schoolwork, attendance, attention to tasks, and friendships! Two more weeks, and then the grade level with the most “tootles” for the challenge will be announced!


Attendance

Students earned their October brag tags for great attendance. Attendance is so important to student learning! REMINDER: If your child is absent, please call, email, or send a ParentSquare message to the school. We need to make sure that your child is safe. If we don’t hear from you, you will hear from us…until we reach you. We appreciate your attention to this!


Playground

The turf is down, and the paving will be next! We are almost there. I know the students are so excited!! And we are too!


Please SLOW DOWN COMING AND GOING the Golden Hill / Nettle premises

Whether your child attends the YMCA, Discovery Club, or is coming at the start of the school day for 8:45 – please make sure that you are driving up the hill SLOWLY. It is important for the safety of our students and our school community.

 

Up This Week: November 9th – November 13th

  • Tuesday, November 10th - District Parent Council Meeting from 9:30-10:30AM at City Hall (Room 104)
  • Wednesday, November 11th – NO SCHOOL for Veterans Day
  • Friday, November 13th – Wear your Patriots Gear!!

School Store - We took a break today. Unfortunately, we've had some challenges recently, including issues with money, student conflicts, and sharing purchases. We want the School Store to be a fun, safe, and positive experience for everyone! 

Our goal is to make sure students can enjoy shopping, feel comfortable, and have a pleasant experience. We appreciate your understanding and support as we take a step back and work toward making the School Store better for everyone!
